Internationally recognised architect Alex Hoffman brings over 25 years of experience to Archipelago as new Principal of Design.
Specialising in transport, residential, workplace and urban design, Alex has a diverse portfolio and extensive skill set honed over 25 years of practice in Australia and the UK. Alex has a passion for complex, user-oriented projects and adaptable building design, and seeks to deliver beautifully designed spaces that support and change with the lives of the people that use them.
Some of Alex’s major past works include: Springfield Central Station, Springfield; the Australian Forensic Facility, Canberra; Aura Town Centre, Sunshine Coast; and National Discovery Park, Liverpool.

Archipelago is also pleased to welcome architectural student Charlotte Canning to the practice. Originally from New Zealand, Charlotte brings with her a strong interest in socially conscious design, and experience across a range of residential and community projects. Charlotte also has a background in interior and graphic design, and looks forward to further developing her multi-disciplinary skill-set with Archipelago.
