Vibrant News Corp media precinct development attracts global attention.

Archipelago are to author the masterplan for a multi-billion-dollar mixed use, media hub to be built on the current site of the News Corp Australia’s Queensland headquarters in Bowen Hills.

Envisioned as an extension of the Brisbane CBD, the masterplan will deliver the ‘vision’ for Australia’s first ‘mediapolis’ collocating new knowledge media businesses in a world-class workplace within a vital and vibrant urban precinct. The News Corp sponsored development plan has already attracted considerable national and international attention, and promises an exciting growth space for media innovation in Australia.

In addition to housing the revamped News Queensland media offices, the Bowen Hills site will be further transformed into a thriving inner city district; complete with residential apartments, retail shops, parkland, restaurants, and lifestyle spaces.
