Kangaroo Point South is a unique inner-city neighbourhood with close ties to the Brisbane River. Archipelago worked with Urbis to undertake the Kangaroo Point South Renewal Strategy for Brisbane City Council as part of their neighbourhood planning process to create a vision for this area and develop a framework for managing growth into the future.

Kangaroo Point South has been identified as a desirable neighbourhood for living, working and visiting due to its proximity to the Brisbane CBD and surrounding assets such as the Brisbane River, The Gabba Stadium, health and education precincts, new transport infrastructure and development in the Woolloongabba Centre.

Our brief included strategic masterplanning, built form, open space strategies, public realm design, stakeholder engagement and other urban design issues.

Archipelago authored and managed a whole of precinct BIM model that allowed real time analysis of the mix and yield of different land use and built-form design responses.
