Celebrating and creating a unique identity for Stones Corner Village

The Stones Corner Precinct Suburban Renewal study recently completed by Archipelago, brought together local landowners to establish a collective vision for the Precinct.

By leveraging the investment made in Hanlon Park by Brisbane City Council and identifying opportunities such as streetscape improvements and strengthening the existing urban fabric, the study sought to reinforce the heart of stones corner and bring business back into the area; encourage outcomes that provide a more rich and diverse urban patterning and creative mixing of uses; and celebrate and create a unique identify for Stones Corner Village.

A framework of opportunities support the vision, streetscape renders depict the potential future of key components of the area, and a series of collages articulate design principles which support a new vision for the Stones Corner Suburban Renewal Precinct.
